Neck Extension Machine

Neck strengthening

What causes neck pain?

Dr. Farinelli has implemented a treatment protocol specifically designed to target the supportive muscles of the cervical spine that was developed through research at the University of Florida's exercise science department.

With the use of a computerized neck extension machine he is able to revitalize weak neck muscles that support the spine and bring balance back to the spine. This ultimately produces healing to the joints and disks related to neck pain.

Common causes of neck pain are.
  • Weak supportive muscles
  • Misalignment of spine causing irritation to the nervous system
  • Adverse pressure on the joints and disks from improper head and neck center of gravity
  • Poor posture
  • Untreated injuries or improper treatment
  • Premature degeneration of the cervical spine
  • Internal disease causing referred pain to the neck or upper back

Neck Extension Machine

How it works

Components of this machine allow for the targeting of specific muscles to be isolated and strengthened.

Normal functions can be restored through the strengthening of the muscles that hold the spinal structure in place.

Utilizing a computerized Neck extension machine, Dr. Farinelli performs an initial test, analyzes the data and develops a personalized physical therapy plan.

Over a course of time the weak neck extensor muscles are reactivated and strengthened. In conjunction with traditional chiropractic adjustments the spinal structure is able to better hold the alignment.

Then the cervical spine is able to regain its normal balance to allow healing of the joints, nerves and disks.

Using this combination of therapies, Dr. Farinelli has been able to help many of his patients who have serious problems with their neck and upper shoulder areas.
